Pixote

It all started in 1993, when seven teenagers from the southern part of São Paulo, who were having fun playing in a square, unpretentiously began their musical careers with a group called “Revelação do Samba”. Shortly after, they became known as “Grupo Pixote”. Two years later, they recorded their first album, called “Brilho de Cristal”, whose title track has been a hit on radio stations across the country to this day.

You can\\\'t talk about “Insegurança”, “Mande um Sinal”, “Saudade de Nós”, “Beijo Doce”, “Fã de Carteirinha” and not remember this group that in 2022 completes 29 years of career, winning many titles and charting songs, in addition to, of course, conquering space in the hearts of all the crowds they\\\'ve visited, regardless of age. And just speaking of national territory, Douglas Fernando Monteiro (Dodô), Agnaldo Nascimento Apolinário (Tiola), and Thiago Carvalho Santana (Thiaguinho), can wipe many states off the map, almost all of them, as they\\\'ve already toured the most diverse corners of Brazil, not to mention the shows abroad, Grupo Pixote is a reference wherever it goes.

In all these years within the music scene, the group has recorded several projects and participated in several events. In 2007, the album Ao vivo celebrated its 15th anniversary and in 2014 the project “Sem Moderação” – which had several participations such as Grupo Revelação and Raça Negra. “Fã de Carteirinha – Sunset”, recorded in Guarujá – on the southern coast of São Paulo, was an album that earned the group a Gold Record.

In August 2020, the trio recorded the DVD “Arena” in drive-in format at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo. The album, featuring special appearances by Marcos & Belutti, Léo Santana and Menos é Mais, brings together ten unreleased tracks and medleys with re-recordings of singles that marked Pixote\\\'s career.

In 2021, they achieved impressive numbers, reaching first place on the biggest playlists on digital platforms and topping the charts on the main radio stations in the country, with the song “Vou ver te aviso”.

In the same year, the singers returned to Guarujá and recorded the new DVD called “Pixote House Music”, with special appearances by singer Hungria, Matheus Fernandes and country singers Diego & Victor Hugo. The song \\\"Portadores de mentirs” was chosen to kick off the singers\\\' new work and was played on the radio. “We bet on this song with the current conversation that will make many people identify with it, everyone knows someone who posts something just to poke fun at others, to show that they are okay or not...” comments Dodô. Throughout 2022, the friends focused on promoting the project “Pixote Husic Music”, which had its latest EP released in the second half of the year.

In early 2023, the group recorded the audiovisual project “Trintou”, which featured special appearances by Belo, Ludmilla, Xanddy Harmonia, Péricles and Thiaguinho.
